The Bedrooms
There are two bedroom sets, one with a king bed and french doors that open to the completely private backyard with zero visibility from neighbors. Perfect for boudoir shoots. The second bedroom gets afternoon light that dreams are made of, with a queen bed and unique furniture sets.
The Daybed Room
The daybed room has light drenching through it with two massive 6’ tall windows, a daybed and unique shelving with old cameras, books, plants, candles and knick knacks collected over the years.
The Kitchen
With clean lines and a 9ft accordion door the kitchen gets amazing light in the morning and creates a unique kitchen experience. It has beams above for mounting lights or top down camera views too!
The Living Room
With huge windows facing South West and South East, you’ll have great light no matter what time of day your session is. The bungalow-style design offers a seamless flow of space, with three distinct areas thoughtfully arranged in a linear layout spanning 46’, each with its own unique character. First the living room includes a modern leather couch, fireplace and Bali style chairs, followed by the daybed area and kitchen. The ceiling beams above are great for mounting lighting out of the way scenes that need it.
The Backyard
Straight out of a Bali villa, you’ll enjoy the lush greenery of Birds of Paradise, Baby Queen Palms, an entire wall of green foliage and 15 foot bamboo along the tall dark wood fence around the side of the house. There a cute fire pit corner with outdoor sofas and complimented stamped concrete that is straight out of an Outdoor Living magazine.
The Outdoor Shower
Straight out of a Bali villa or Tulum escape, you can get photos in this very rare outdoor shower right here in LA. With hot water surrounded by dark wood, bougainvillea, a lime tree and some greenery overhead. The photos here are to die for!
The Bathrooms
There are two large Bathrooms at The Bungalow. The first has an oversized tub, huge round mirror, beautiful tiles and is large enough for a talent to comfortably hang clothes, change and touch up between looks. The second bathroom has a stand up shower with a glass door,
Take a break
I get it, you need some downtime during a long day of shooting. Our outdoor patio table accommodates your crew of up to 10 so you can enjoy lunch outside before getting back to work!
Plus the patio in the backyard with the outdoor sofa!
There are also a dozen restaurants within a 15 minute walk of the location, so you can easily cater food in from the Venice/Mar Vista area.
The House Layout
There is as much outdoor space to shoot as indoor! In true bungalow fashion when you walk in the front door you can see down the entire property through the accordion doors to the outdoor shower. It is completely private and spacious!
